WE WILL MEET AGAIN

Dear friends, the Ballerina Ballroom Cinema of Dreams closed its doors on 23rd August after an astounding 7 days of screening films to capacity crowds. We were totally bowled over by the enthusiasm and goodwill we received from audiences who had come from 2 minutes down the road or halfway round the globe. We made lots of friends, took plenty of photos of people wearing silly costumes and dancing like loons, and ate more home baking than had been thought humanly feasible.

We WILL meet again. Keep sending us your photos and videos, many of which can already be seen on our Facebook group. Once we’ve had a wee bit of a holiday we’ll post more here, along with an extract from Simon Fisher Turner’s sublime score to I WAS BORN, BUT… and some of the incredible press we received.

And remember - kids want Joseph Mankiewicz!
